YA Industries introduced the Easy Vape Digital Vaporizer to the market early in 2008. The Easy Vape is a box-type convection vaporizer using direct-inhalation. As the name suggests, the temperature is digitally controlled; it features an LCD read out.

Disadvantages

Some people think it’s a bit ‘plastic’ to look at
Colored whips are not transparent so it is difficult to see the color of your weed (vital for correct temperature) or the dosage
The silicon used for the whip is very soft and, therefore, it often arrives kinked
The temperature control resets to 200° when you switch the unit off, so you have to calibrate it again for subsequent use
The large bowl means that you use more marijuana than needed for one sitting
No ‘temperature reached’ indicator light
There is a metal grille over the element, which sort of negates the advantages of the ceramic

Summary

The Easy Vape Digital seems to arouse some very passionate reviews, people either love it or hate it; there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. For the price, you get a good basic vaporizer and you can always replace the whip if the lack of transparency or the softness is an issue for you.
