As already reported on this site, Indiana has some of the harshest marijuana penalties in the US, with possession of even a single joint liable to cost you up to $5,000 in fines PLUS up to a year in jail. Even knowingly visiting a place where drugs are used can bring a six months jail sentence down on your head, is and a fine of up to $1,000.
Now there is a study under-way to look at the impact decriminalizing marijuana would have on the state.

Yes, I also hope the cannabis will be legalized soon as possible
Interesting study, i hope the cannabis will be legalizate soon as possible.
Since years the cannabis is a usefull plant for all kinds of stuff.
Its actually good if Indiana legalizes Marijuana. If they have alcohol and cigarettes legalized then why not Marijuana?
Looking at the penalties I personally don’t feel that’s gonna happen soon but all we can do is hope for the best.
