I strongly believe that Medical Marijuana has many beneficial uses for coping with illness.

Finally there appears to be more support for medical marijuana in America. Medical marijuana is legal in more than 12 of the states.

New Mexico recently announced that they are passing a law which legalizes the use of marijuana for medical purposes.

Do you think it is positive that more and more states in the USA are legalizing medical marijuana?

I read this article on common sense ant it pretty much said that all people who smoke this "drug" are bad people who will kill anyone even you for a bowl… Is that all you got? c'mon. We must stand up and fight the war on harmless plants. Would if we can alternate the drugs for medical use to marijuana. You choose, morphine or marijuana. Who has the common sense now. We need to stand taller than ever, the wars odds are low and it has just begun, but we need to end the suffering of millions of americans being convicted of crimes that shouldn't even be a crime. Please! Stand up this is wrong in so many ways.

    Amy,

I’m right there with you as far as your sentiments. I’m a wounded Iraq vet, and my conditions cause symptoms ranging from loss of appetite, inability to deal with stress, despression, and pain, just to name a few. I would benefit greatly from medicinal use of marijuana, because the alternative is what they are giving me now – upwards of 25 to 30 pills a day. Someday I hope to get away from the pharmacological nightmares and treat my symptoms with something a little more sensible. But that is an impossibility right now, because even though I am medically retired because of my injuries (received in combat, no less), I am still subject to the Army’s stance on marijuana. If I happen to show up positive for it in any of my bloodwork, it gives them the reason they are perpetually looking for so they can cut out my benefits.

And Mark, thanks for your work writing here. I stumbled across it just doing some random surfing, and I’m glad I did. Keep up the good work, man, and I’ll definitely be cming by here in the future on my regular rounds of the net.
