Today I thought it would be a good idea to share an incredible true story about the need to legalize marijuana in the USA. I won’t divulge the name of the person in this story, as I do not want to expose our visitor to any potential legal problems:

I am a 63 year old Retired Police Officer, I suffered several serious line of duty injuries. 27 operations latter, I now find myself with operations that are failing and I am in chronic pain. I have rods in my back and neck.

Along dealing with the pain, there is depression. I have been using marijuana for the last 15 years. I am also an artist and there are times that I cannot focus due to the pain, even while using prescription medication. Smoking or eating it, helps me focus on my art work. It helps keeping the depression under control. All of my doctors are informed about my marijuana usage and they have no problem with it.

The American people must rent “Americas’ Drug war”, you can see the trailer below:

You will see there just how our Government has lied to us and are responsible for the importation of the REAL BAD drugs for making their way into this country, through the CIA and their Black Ops.

Prohibition NEVER works. Control, ie. Tobacco and Alcohol are prime examples.

Think about it for a moment. Hundreds of users of Heroin, Cocaine and Crystal Meth(the next plague) die every and no one can point to any death occurring from the use of cannabis. One more fact, There has been no arrests of major drug dealers who are flying and bringing that poison into our Country. Those drugs cannot be grown in this country. No money launders or banks that launder the massive amounts of drug money are being brought to trial.

But in Texas, they will lock you up for being possession of a single joint and they will wind up doing time that is unreal.

Obama has smoked , by his own admission and he managed to become, The President of the United States!

We The People, must get off of our asses and let our voices heard about this issue. It is California’s’ largest cash crop of the State. If they would just decriminalize it and then tax it, would bring MILLIONS into the coffers of the State. Then take all of the manpower from chopping down plants in the woods, then burning it while they stand downwind.

It would make less accessible to our children. Drug dealers do not ask for ID. If you had to buy it as we buy Liquor, we now control its’ sales. All other laws that apply to giving alcohol to under age individuals would apply. Driving laws are already in place as to driving under the influence. All we are doing now is supporting the private prison system. Wake up America. This is only one issue. They are chipping away at our Bill Of Rights, a little at a time.

Do you think the US government should legalize marijuana?

Hard to get people to publicly support something that can get you locked up. Even George Washington & Thomas Jefferson had to meet in the back side of shaddy taverns to plan their revolution. As long as people run the risk of being outed and ending up losing jobs, houses, cars, lives, and freedom it will be hard to mobilize an army.

here is my song for leagalizing marijuana its called “UNIVERSAL”

I think that marijuana is becoming outdated. right now there are tons of alternative products which produce roughly the same effects (some of the effects are even better.) For example, Black Mamba produces the same high, the same pain relief and a host of other benefits without THC, AND it burns with a clean taste and smell…and for roughly the same cost.

Why are we still getting caught with illegal drugs when we can get the same benefits from legal products? Check out Black Mamba at – its the one i use and recommend.

I have been smoking since 1966, but not on a regular basis’ I have been busted in Georgia(1971) and recently in Alabama for three plants for my personal use. I have hepatitis C along with some joint pains. But here in Alabama they still treat us like dangerous criminals. My bond was $3000 and in columbus ga. right after my arrest a man charged with homicide Dui bond was set at $1000. Is that justice?

We have started the first online Medical Marijuana collective in CA. We only ship in the state of CA, verify all Drs recommendations and have had no problems. For those of you in CA that live more than 20 miles to a legal dispensary, we are another option.

We are truly a non-profit provider, registered with the state and collect all sales taxes. We hope to help grow the economy, educate the public, provide high quality at lowest price possible and offer compassionate discounts.

bcoleman you didn’t say what state you are in. Ca allows for different amts in differing counties and cities.

I got my medical marihuana card now thay say im aloud to grow 12 plants in a locked place is that true? They should tax it an stop putting people in jail for it.

  • Lets be honest, if we fail to look at cannabis for its industrial applications we are overlooking the real reason cannabis is illegal at a federal level.

Industrial hemp, would put so many companies out of business (unless they used their brains and made the switch themselves, they already have the infrastructure) that they are NOT willing to allow it to ever become at legal at a Federal level.

We can only educate ourselves and our children so that one day there will be enough of them in the government rankings to do something and decriminalize cannabis in all forms.

So many states have hemp growing laws, as do some have medical cannabis laws, but “our” government thinks they “know” better then “we the people” and are only looking out for “our”, i mean “the lobbyists”, “bests interests”.

Until corporate lobbying is made ILLEGAL, “we the people” means zilch, nada, nothing, absolutely and unequivocally!.

  • Valid medicinal value, it’s a victimless crime, the War on Drugs WAY too costly, too many arrests for simple possession, tax it and use the money to pay for health insurance and to reduce the deficit…Woodstock Universe supports legalization of Marijuana for a variety of reasons.

  • The fact that many millions of Americans have used pot has not translated into real political pressure on the people who can change the laws. One of the problems inhibiting legalization is that people who smoke a glass pipe are not considered serious or mature. It is this stigma that scares many pot users to hide that they utilize the drug. It is up to us to be public about our choices and to make sure our voices are heard by the ones that ultimately decide what the rules are. Send an email, send a letter make a phone call, every hand written Letter that makes it to a representative is considered to be the voice of thousands of people who did not take the time to write.
