The New Hampshire House of Representatives has passed HB 442: Use of Marijuana for Medicinal Purposes
with an overwhelming majority – 221-96, that is, 69.7%. Whichever way you look at it, this is a superb majority but, when you take into consideration the almost 3:1 Republican majority in the house, the support across all political spectra becomes obvious.

Medical conditions covered by the Bill include:

(a) A chronic or terminal disease; and

(b) Symptoms or treatment results that include at least one of the following: cachexia or wasting syndrome, severe pain that has not responded to previously prescribed medication or surgical measures for more than 3 months, severe nausea, severe vomiting, seizures, or severe, persistent muscle spasms.
