This site is awesome. Anything that will help in the movement of legalization of medical marijuana is the right course. Way to many fallacies and misnomers. It is real and has benefits. I am a believer because it has helped me. Everyone that knows or believes this needs to shout it out. Until we let our voice be heard nothing can happen.

This growth and attempt is now getting bigger. There is a new Marijuana social site dedicated to the industry. Medical users, casual, non-users. It’s not about if you do or don’t, it is to support. If you get a chance stop by and help us learn more about medical uses or to meet like minded people. Together we will be heard. MJ-Xchange.com

i have chose to consume in the wrong state! Georgia… I need help with my defense, great case…. ANY help would be a blessing!!!

  • Chris says:

Perhaps more importantly, now federal lawmakers are coming out supporting medical marijuana, at least indirectly. The bill proposed by Congressmen Ron Paul and Barney Frank goes a long way toward making medical marijuana more legitimate (a subject which I covered today at http://is.gd/VHby51).

It’s also interesting to see Montel not only support it, but actively get involved in it. He could, after all, be thrown in jail considering that dispensaries are still illegal from a federal perspective.

  • I am an RN and have seen much suffering in my career. I am also a cancer survivor, I have smoked marijuana in the past to cope with symptoms. Fortunately, I am well now, my cancer is gone & I have not touched marijuana in many years, but I do not believe that closed-minded, fearful individuals should be allowed to sentence me, or any other suffering individual to a lingering discomfort caused by disease, injury, or treatment. There are numerous studies that document scientific evidence of the therapeutic benifits of marijuana and there are numerous studiees that show the evidence of the detremental effects of tobacco and alcohol, yet these substances are legal!

As long as the people try to force their own sense of moral certitude on others this country will never truly be free.

Why should one man force another not to smoke a glass pipe? Isn’t morality supposed to include respect and without respect for others freedom how can one truly be an American? Bravo Montel, Bravo.

Try not to have such a closed mind and educate yourself as to the chemical properties of the marijuana plant, the human cannibinoid receptors in our brains and the possiblity of restoring some quality of life to people who are suffering with irretractable pain, such as the pain suffered by MS, ALS, neuropathies, cancer, etc. Many prescription drugs are far more dangerous and have a higher propensity for for abuse as well as adverse side effects.

only a loser pot head would want thhis kind of crimminal activity to pass cause then they can go to their doctor and say my thumb hurts and write me a letter so I can smoke some weed. Montell Williams is old news, what reputation

    • paul cassenelli says:

Well Erika, from the short note you wrote, explains the 1 track mind you have.

Try educating yourself & know the truth of how hard it is to get a medical marijuana card in the few states that give them. So i guess it’s ok by you to drink alcohol to forget your problems, because you can’t have fun without it.

But using marijuana for many medical reasons. This has nothing to do with being a pot head as you call use. Most are hard working people that are sick of taking pills loaded with chemicals that destroy our bodies worse than the health issues ever could.

Montel is doing an incredible job. He is doing everything in his power, being in the public spotlight to help those of us who need medical marijuana .He admits to breaking laws in states where it isn’t legalized. He has the guts to come foward & put his reputation on the line.I went to a taping of his show last year. I brought up the subject of him doing his part & what can the average american that is disable to do to get involved. He spent over 15 minutes after the taping to talk to me & those that wanted to stay & hear his advice. We all need to get involved, vote out those who don’t favor our medical needs. Write all congress & politians in america to let them know we won’t stand for this anymore. Being deprived of a natural plant for many medical uses, instead of posining our bodies every day with pills. That certain politians get money from, pharmecudical companies that won’t agree to stop using prohibition as a reason not to do the correct thing,& tell our gov. the real truth of the benifits of the use of MEDICAL MARIJUANA.THANKS, PAUL CASSENELLI
