Will Indiana Legalize Medical Marijuana?
November 14th, 2011

As already reported on this site, Indiana has some of the harshest marijuana penalties in the US, with possession of even a single joint liable to cost you up to $5,000 in fines PLUS up to a year in jail. Even knowingly visiting a place where drugs are used can bring a six months jail sentence down on your head, is and a fine of up to $1,000.

Now there is a study under-way to look at the impact decriminalizing marijuana would have on the state.

  2. Its actually good if Indiana legalizes Marijuana. If they have alcohol and cigarettes legalized then why not Marijuana?

Looking at the penalties I personally don’t feel that’s gonna happen soon but all we can do is hope for the best.
