What the doctor looks for is proof of injury and that it is still bothering you. My accident was four years ago. The mmj doctor will ask for a copy of your up to date medical records. They have to back up that you need this drug. I received my card and the doctor explained to me that reason she gave it to me was because she could see my injury in the pictures in my medical record.
