This was a pretty exciting day for people in favor of legalization and I hope the assemblyman pushes forward with the legislation early next year. I hope the Obama administration also continues to leave the dispensaries alone. Many of the sick are benefiting from their medical marijuana. I am a glass artist and I sell glass pipes and I know a lot of people who benefit from the medical marijuana movement in California and the rest of the country. Hopefully, they will start leaving the head shops alone too.
Although it will drive down my business (as a criminal defense lawyer), I am glad CA is finally coming to its senses and sees the potential tax benefit.
