Don’t be scared off by the name, AK47 weed was named for its powerful hit rather than the fact that it leads to any aggressive tendencies! When burned, the smell is very skunky with a whisper of sandalwood, so the rather sweet, floral taste is something of a surprise.
First bred in 1992, the strain was modified in 1999 to improve its stability. The result of this rework is seeds that you can trust to produce plants of the same quality each time you sow them.
AK47 seeds are easy to grow both indoors and out, but the aroma is strong so we don’t recommend you grow it near boundary fences or anywhere the scent will cause offence or problems.
Despite being mostly sativa, AK47 has a short flowering period and produces nicely compact plants.
