Weird USA State Laws?
I have heard of a lot of US States that have very strange and stupid laws that are only illegal in that state. Can anyone name any?

MMJ State Law Examples
I can say that each state's MMJ laws are different. While MMJ is still illegal federally, each state has a right to set their own laws.
Originally, this is what the civil war was fought over - states rights. It wasn't so much that people were concerned with slavery but that each state should be autonomous and has a right to be independent with out too much central government intervention. This is actually why the first pilgrims came to America, to escape persecution but also for independence. Many republicans would tend be more for a noncentralized government where democrats would be leaning more towards a centralized government that would be closer to socialism at an extreme.
Regardless, each state now has it's own rules and regulations when it comes to medical marijuana. You should be aware of federal mandatory minimums when conducting medical marijuana transactions or when engaging in certain functions for your business; for example, possessing over 5 pounds or 99 plants at one time in criminal cases automatically brings federal mandatory minimums. Each state will have it's own laws as to how much a legally qualified patient may possess.
Even more, you should ALWAYS do a thorough search to see what your local laws say about the medical marijuana before you begin planning and operating your business. Local laws change frequently and can vary dramatically from city to city.
For example, Michigan's Medical Marihuana Law does not mention medical marijuana dispensaries. However, individual communities such as Dryden have begun to become proactive in dealing with the inevitable issues to come and have begun allowing dispensaries in their community, although, with certain stipulations. Meanwhile, Detroit, doesn't allow them at all which is a major city near by.
In another example, Long Beach now requires that dispensaries grow 100% of their own medication along with a $20,000 to $25,000 annual fee in order to operate while Los Angeles city just a few miles away has no such rules for their dispensaries although, their rules are different.

I have heard about US laws. some are very strict but very useful for country. Barack Obama had to be done to reverse the trend. human rides do not like some strict rules. But some rules are very kind and co-operative.

Each State has the right to govern their own laws. I believe one day that medical marijuana will be legal everywhere, it is just a matter of time.

Question: I already have a card from my physician and another from a dispensary. Why would I want another card?
MPP Answer: The state-issued ID cards provide near-guaranteed protection from arrest by state and local law enforcement officials for limited amounts of marijuana, and other ID cards do not.
According to the California Health and Safety Code, "No person or designated primary caregiver in possession of a valid [state] identification card shall be subject to arrest for possession, transportation, delivery, or cultivation of medical marijuana in an amount established pursuant to this article, unless there is reasonable cause to believe that the information contained in the card is false or falsified, the card has been obtained by means of fraud, or the person is otherwise in violation of the provisions of this article."
Cards offered by physicians, dispensaries, and other private organizations do not offer this level of legal protection.
