Loose fluffy buds

I am just starting my second grow from clones of my first batch.

The first grow came out reasonably good for the first try except that the buds are all loose and fluffy instead of tight and compact.
Does anyone know a fix for this?
I am growing indoors in dirt pots with 1000w MH and Hps lighting.

Hi Kim. What cannabis strain was it? Because some strains, especially the sativas, naturally have fluffy buds. Thicker, more compact buds are more commonly associated with indicas.
How did it smoke? What kind of yield did you get?
